Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Jessie Pailthorpe his daughters, Wanda (Larry) Scheerens and Karen (David) Zok his grandchildren, Jennifer Butler, Kristina (Sean) Greene, and Kevin and Amanda Zok great-grandchildren, Stephanie Greene and Shane Butler his brother, David (Joan) Pailthorpe of GA his loving dog, Gidget and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Sarah (Joseph) Bopp. Glenn served in the Air Force for 8 years and retired from Delco Products in Rochester after 30 years. He was born October 26, 1934, in Rochester to the late Herbert and Esther Mass Pailthorpe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother-in-law John Hugh Clark and nephew Mark Clark. But most importantly Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He could always be seen taking his daily drive to Tim Horton’s for his coffee and donuts and was known by the girls as Ray Ray. His wife referred to him as the “Mayor” of Albion because he knew everybody, always made time to say hello, and was well liked in the community. After a long career as an electrician, he spent his semi-retirement working at Ace Hardware in Albion. Ray was a lifetime member of 51 years and past Exalted Ruler of the Albion Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. He was born Jin Brockport, a son of the late Charles and Edna (Snyder) Babbitt and had lived in this area all of his life. Babbitt, 71, passed away peacefully at his home October 7, 2022. Velma travelled to Las Vegas several times with her husband, Richard and also enjoyed trips with her travel group through the UAW seeing much of the country. She enjoyed watching old episodes of Perry Mason and listening to Elvis. Velma was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo and playing scratch offs. Velma worked for Harrison Radiator Division of GM in Lockport for over 30 years. She graduated from Lyndonville High School. Velma was a daughter of the late Ernest and Marie (Burtch) Waterson, born on in Medina. Cichocki, of Medina, passed away peacefully on Friday, Octoat the Orchard Rehab & Nursing Center at the age of 86.
